Perfumes play a very important role in our lives and for many men, applying theirfavorite perfume is the final touch to start each day, or to enter into a great night out with that special spark and that confidence.
But did you know that there is a special way toapply perfume and get the most out of it? In this post we want to share with you asuper basic guide to using and applying men's perfume.
When to apply perfume?
There really is an ideal time to apply perfume, and that is after taking a nice bath. This is because that's when your skin is completely clean and fresh, so it will absorb the fragrance completely, and the scent will be perceived and last much longer. Important: Apply the perfume once you are completely dry, otherwise it will be diluted with water.
How should a men's perfume be applied?
Although it may seem hard to believe, applying perfume correctlyis one of the keys tomaking its scent last much longer time on your skin, so if you want the perfume to last all day or as many hours as possible, follow these points:
-Apply it to the pulse points of the body
The pulse points of the body are where the blood circulation runs closest to the skin. Their temperature is higher and makes the fragrance evaporate more slowly. What are these points? The most common are the top of the neck, behind the ears, and the inside of the elbows and wrists.
-Apply the fragrance from a distance.
Professionals recommend applying the fragrance at a distance of 10 to 15 centimeters from the skin. So now you know, when you apply the fragrance, do it by holding the bottle at approximately that distance so that the aroma is better distributed on the skin.
-Don't apply too much perfume
Above all, men's perfumes tend to have a stronger aroma, so it is recommended not to use too much. 2 to 4 sprays are recommended.
-Don't rub the perfume
Many people have the habit of rubbing their skin after spraying cologne. Never do this, because the heat shock causes the molecules to break down and the scent to not penetrate as well.
-Apply to your wrists once you feel the scent has diminished
Once you feel the scent is no longer so evident, apply a little more perfume to your wrists.
-Do not mix fragrances
As a final point in this guide to using men's perfume, we recommend not mixing fragrances.
